A lifelong writer, and visual artist, Steven Yessick has an architectural design degree from Clemson University and an M.eD. in Visual Arts from UTC. He spent many years travelling and experiencing life in major cities purveying the streets and nightlife around the turn of the Millennium, and has seen an incredible amount of art and architecture in the Art Meccas in Europe, as well as those in the US. Searching for the sunrise at events and gatherings was also a huge part of his development. At live music gatherings he made his drawings and came up with many ideas. Incorporating his ideas and drawings from gatherings and life experiences into his art was crucial, as his art was meant to capture the emotional bliss and freedom of the moment when people are together. A lover of suspense and spectacle, Steven Yessick believes in the power of the subconscious as it is connected to the larger mass unconscious. Many of his poetry, words, and messages are formed in the moment, to create a lasting concrete version of the present that actually moves through time and into the future in it’s most natural state.
