Vishma Maharaj is a native of Trinidad that has lived in Port St Lucie, Florida for the last 15 years. A wholly self-taught artist, she works in a variety of forms including resin, sculpting, painting, and mixed media presentations. Through her art, Vishma seeks to show a connection to Nature through the expression of natural elements with a touch of phantasmagorical fantasy. Resin art adds dimension and depth by layering and colors. She incorporates genuine Swarovski gems, crushed tempered glass, and Crystals to each piece to give the essence of a geode.
