About Me Hello! I am Jessica Fradono, a photographer, creative and founder of The Dishstance and TRVLR Designs by Jessica Fradono Photography. In 2017, I left my home in Austin, Texas, embarking on a journey that has taken me to over 20 countries, where I’ve had the chance to live and explore. As a “slow traveler,” I strive to stay as long as possible in each destination, fully immersing myself in the language, culture, food, history, and subtle details. Currently, I call Syros home —  it’s a sweet little Greek island in the Cycladic Region of the Aegean Sea. My travels over the past seven years have profoundly shaped my creativity and work. In 2018, I founded TRVLR Designs as an outlet to share the beauty and inspiration of the things I was encountering along the path of my journey. I have a true passion for photography and design — the differing nature, textiles and iconography of each location are the main influences for the things I create. And since I see the world through a vibrant lens, vibrant colors often play a central role. My guiding principle is the Japanese philosophy of “Wabi Sabi,” which celebrates the beauty found in imperfection, transience, and the natural cycle of growth and transformation. Rooted in Zen Buddhism, it teaches appreciation for the flawed and the incomplete, encouraging us to embrace simplicity and authenticity. It helps us find beauty in the modest, weathered, and temporary aspects of life, offering a quiet sense of peace in the fleeting nature of all things. Thank you for being here with me!
