Travel by Illustration is owned and operated by a digital marketing professional with a love for travel and design. It started as I was walking down the streets of Paris, trying to take in the sights. Anyone who travels anywhere designed for tourists knows the common frustration of fighting off street markets who all sell the same tourist-trap merchandise designed in China. I wanted to bring home something for my friends and family, but I did not want to buy something I could easily order on Amazon at home for half the price that was made in a country I wasn't even visiting. Instead, I came up with the idea of turning my personal photos into illustrations. I have over 500 photos that can easily become art pieces, just with a few hours and dedication of sitting on Illustrator. I want to bring these photos to you in fun and usable products. Whether you're coming home from a trip and forgot to buy your best friend a souvenir, or you are dreaming of traveling to these destinations, I can guarantee these products are going to be made with more heart and soul than any tourist-trap merchandise you will find.
