Three decades ago, two people set out to change the face of finance. When Sue and the late Bob Toigo launched the Fellowship program, their mission was to provide under represented rising leaders with the network and support they needed but otherwise didn’t have access to. Mentorship, introductions, advice and career support—all the elements many take for granted, yet few ethnic minorities could tap. Now, 30 years later, the work they started reaches well beyond incoming MBA Toigo Fellows. Through its range of programs, Toigo supports diverse leaders from the classroom to the boardroom and connects that talent with forward-thinking employers. What started with 7 at one school has grown to 1,500 Toigo Alumni and Fellows strong at 20 of the nation’s top MBA programs. Thousands of firms and individuals are part of the movement, supporting Toigo’s efforts to shine a brighter light on the value of inclusion and need for change in the workplace.
