Studio Flora Luna

Welcome to Studio Flora Luna! In this shop, you’ll find an inclusive collection of art, born out of passion for the weird and adorable. I’m Ellie Tippins, the artist behind this creative space. Everything you see here is lovingly illustrated by me using an iPad and Apple Pencil. With a BFA in Painting, my previous creative focus was abstract acrylic painting and colorful oil paint portraiture. Converting to digital illustration is a new adventure for me, and I’m thrilled to take on this challenge. Each design you see here is original, with inspiration from botanical elements, historical references, and magical motifs. I love to work surrounded by my plant collection, my dogs (Harold and Skippy), and a comedic true crime podcast in my ears. Period movies and television have been a focal point in my life since childhood, which greatly inspires my vintage-themed designs. My desire to celebrate a gore-free Halloween year-round inspires my other designs that are cute, spooky, and never scary. I carry a wealth of knowledge about producing artwork and printing from my 9 years in the art and large-scale printing industry. Each illustration I create, I spend the time needed to ensure they are high resolution, quality files, so that you receive the best print outcome possible.
