Artist, illustrator, and photographer, Lyndsey Warren, discovered two of her passions early on in life; art and horses. The horse became the influential instrument that continues to drive her creative passions and many of the artistic endeavors she pursues. Lyndsey holds a BFA from the Hartford Art School with a focus on childrens book and scientific illustration, as well as minors in photography and art history. She continued her education onward to obtain a MAT/MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Through a quality education and loads of patience and practice, Lyndsey has gained a strong background in art. Experienced in working with a plethora of mediums, styles, and subject matter, Lyndsey has tailored herself to being a highly marketable artist and illustrator. She also has experience with working with many different creative mind types to collaborate on an array of projects. She has worked on designs, illustrations, websites, and logos for equine related businesses, local vintners, musicians, video and online game producers, concepts for film and entertainment, veterinarians, and local schools. She has experience with working with graphic and website designers, art directors, and museum curators. Today she specializes in digital illustration utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter. She strives to achieve a painterly feel to her digital work which leaves viewers wondering what medium she used. Lyndsey does not limit herself to working digitally only; she is highly accomplished in a wide range of mediums from oils, acrylics, watercolors, inks, colored pencils, graphite, pastels, and so much more. Lyndsey works in a variety of mediums for her fine art endeavors as well as for client commissions. She prides herself in creating realistic equine and pet portraiture and also has been commissioned by clients who desire other subject matter. Lyndsey also spent ten years as an art educator working with children from many walks of life. She thoroughly enjoys working with under priviledged children where art brings a much needed escape from their everyday reality. In addition to her artwork, Lyndsey also enjoys writing poetry and riding and showing horses.
