I was born in 1958 to a talented beautiful Aquarius woman whose inner hippie and civic responsibility was ripe to dawn. By the time I was in first grade, she taught me that you CAN fight city hall. Through the years, we attended rallys, demonstrations and marches for women's equality, equal pay, gay pride. But she had something that I was never to attain: the patience to quilt. I love to sew. I love quilts. But I don't love to quilt. Computer graphics is my thing, so one day I just starting making a quilt on the computer, using images of color. My first quilt was a Tree of Life for my sister's anniversary. Then came the Koi, more of a quilted mosaic. Next was Believe, made in memory of my dear mother; a landscape of my favorite wildflowers. Now I love making images of my dog Levi, an Italian Grayhound/Chihuahua, sitting beside my wife's favorite trees: Jacaranda and Japanese Red Maple. I love my Love Is Love design because I believe it fits everybody.
