<B><FONT SIZE="3"><font color="fusia">Where did you grow up?</B></U></FONT> Richmond Ca,in the SF Bay Area <B><FONT SIZE="3"><font color="fusia">What are some influences that you feel affected your design style?</B></U></FONT> My hood, point blank period! I'm going to keep it all the way real, I've seen, learned and experienced awhole lot from where I grew up and my surroundings. Being from the bay area alone taught me the Independent hustle that motivates me to want to do more.<br> So I would have to say my society and way of living, we really live this this is not a line made up by a bunch of people who NEVER lived a day in the life..so its only right that we represent it right.<br> <b><FONT SIZE="3"><font color="fusia">Prior to Poli$hed where were you designing before?</b></FONT></U> I've never designed before POLI$HED it was always a dream of mine but I never persued it because of other business ventures that I had going on.<br> However the passion & desire for it was ALWAYS there, so I knew that one day I would eventually get it together.<br> I've been personally styling people literally from head to toe since middle school so style & fashion has always been in me, I love making people look good and feel good about what they are wearing and who they are.<br> <b><FONT SIZE="3"><font color="fusia">What is POLI$HED?</b></U></FONT> The Female Melting Pot of Urban style. It's the <b>FEMALE HUSTLE</b> edition to the Urban Clothing society.<br> <b><FONT SIZE="3"><font color="fusia">What is its focus?</b></U></FONT> Independence, Health, & Wealth<BR> <B><FONT SIZE="3"><font color="fusia">What is your mission?</B></U></FONT> Our mission for POLI$HED clothing is to empower women worldwide to show their independent side of themselves and know that females can hustle hard just as well as a male.<BR> <B><FONT SIZE="3"><font color="fusia">Do you fear competition?</B></U></FONT> No I don't fear anything but GOD himself. POLI$HED is not in competition with any other brands, because we are NEW to this industry so if anything we look up to the ones before us as mentors or guides to make us better.<br> We are all about empowering one another wether it be outside our network etc. You get a lot further working together than you would apart or against another anyday.<br> <B><FONT SIZE="3"><font color="fusia">What are some of your goals for POLI$HED in 2009?</b></U></3ONT> I first plan on launching the line online and in my local community to get its jumpstart, i.e. smokeshops, local malls, corner stores etc. <b>The ORIGINAL HOOD HUSTLE !!</b> Next I will be showcasing the the line as a new vendor at the Magic Show in Las Vegas and possibly following up with an expedition at LA Fashion week. <B><FONT SIZE="3"><font color="fusia">Any major accomplishments for POLI$HED so far?</b></U></FONT> Yes the fact that I have independently financed this venture without the assistance of any financial institution or credit cards. I took advantage of the knowledge gained from the streets and flipped it into a reality, now thats a pretty BIG accomplishment to me.<br> Speaking on reality, we have a few VH1 reality stars rockin the gear now and on their shows. We have also had a ton of girls inquiring on where to get the pieces and asking when will it be avail in their area, so we have our work cut out for us.<br> <B><FONT SIZE="3"><font color="fusia">Any last closing words that you would like people to know?</b></U></FONT> Yes I do actually.. I would like people to know that POLI$HED is here and we are not going anywhere!! You may not agree with the slogans or sayings on the merchandise, or the lifestyle that we lead. But aslong as you RESPECT our goals, determination, and hustle our accomplishments have been met. We do not determine success by the amount of mainstream celebs and or merchandise sold, we measure GREAT SUCCESS, by staying true to ourselves, and the advantages of the independent female hustle, so "GET POLI$HED TODAY".<br>
