OLD ART REBORN

Explore through a collection of artwork, pattern designs, blueprints, monograms and old book covers dating back from the 12th to 20th century from Antiquities to the Middle Ages through to the Victorian Era. You will find a varying mix of styles and techniques from around the world ranging from Damask to Art Nouveau, Art Deco to Vintage Abstract Art and Retro style. William Morris who pioneered the Arts and Crafts Movement in the mid 1800’s. Botanical and Aquatic drawings from 19th century explorers such as Ernst Haeckel and the largest section, old book covers designed into artwork for phone cases, bags, cushions and more. Historical character has been preserved but also transformed into appealing designs. My inspiration originally came about through looking at design in nature, but then expanded to include anything old and out of the ordinary. Thank you for visiting my shop and enjoy exploring !
