SouthernGyrl Graphics

I'm a single mother in New Orleans, LA. I started my logo for SouthernGyrls in 2006 on CafePress so I can be a stay-at-home mom. I hope to maybe take the name and the logo and make it a national product or slogan. I first started out on a site named Blackplanet by copying html codes and designing pages. Then I started designing pages for others on my own. Then I turned to making blends for message boards. I then became a head graphic designer for the now defunct Simply Aaliyah message board. I've done work for an artist on myspace, named M.D.West and an underground group The Suns. I am self taught, never had to go to school for graphic designing. I still have a lot to learn, though.
