Hello! I'm Nina Moreland and my passions consist of artwork, foraging, and traveling. I have done artwork for 15+ years and have fulfilled commissioned pieces for several years now. I primarily work with acrylic, oil, digital, clay, watercolor, ink, and other mediums. My foraging and background in Central Asian and Russian culture gives the creativity for the majority of my artwork. Nature's Palette was established in 2024, but the concept and work slowly began in 2020. After several ideas, concepts, and help from friends and family throughout the years, Nature's Palette came together in the end. I've been foraging and mushroom hunting for 18+ years and have done guided forays for many years. I was taught yearly and recreationally by my grandparents and other relatives who were from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan. I am honored and find immense joy in continuing down the tradition of this exciting and delicious past time. I am also currently an Assistant Foray Leader with the Colorado Mycological Society, a wonderful and knowledgable community in the great state of Colorado.
