The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities, more commonly known as DPU, focuses on service and community involvement rather than profits. DPU is community owned! Our board is comprised of Los Alamos locals who are DPU customers and Los Alamos County tax payers. We offer electric, natural gas, water and wastewater services. As a public utility, we care about our customers! DPU has a formal Utility Assistance Program (UAP) for our customers who struggle to pay their utilities bills. The program is funded by the generous contributions of DPU's customers. Any profits collected through sales on this site will be directed to the UAP fund.
