My art is inspired by my love for gardening and nature, which comes from my mother, who for 89 yrs. never missed a day in her gardens, as long as she was physically able. When she needed to go to assisted living, I understood her sadness of leaving behind the place that gave her the most joy and peace. I was away the first month of her being in a new home, I wanted to let her know I was thinking of her. Every morning I painted a notecard with flowers, plants or animals, wrote a note about my day, and sent them off to her. She saved every one. I continue to paint, for my peace and to share with my mom. I hope you will enjoy them as well.
