After earning a degree at he University of Miami in Broadcast Journalism/ Creative Writing with a minor in Art, I changed course and became a teacher. For the past two decades I have been helping children with emotional problems learn not only academics, but also how to survive there situations. Recently, I have written four novels which I am in the process of trying to sell. My jazz inspiration comes from my son, a saxophonist at his high school.
