Jill's Handpicked Treasures John's Soda Pop Shop is a family-owned antique store, that was the dream of John and his wife, Jill, who married in 1984. Over the years, John and Jill collected a variety of antiques and their home became like a museum as it displayed their priceless treasures. John and Jill strived hard to make their dream of a small antique shop a reality and they were close to achieving this goal when the unthinkable happened. In December 2021, Jill passed away due to covid, leaving John and his family with a great loss and the challenge of continuing their dream. John and his kids continued to work hard, and in December 2022, they finally fulfilled Jill and John's dream of opening the antique store. Today you can visit us in the heart of the United States, in downtown Hannibal, Missouri. At Jill's Handpicked Treasures, you can find unique items from all over the world, each piece hand picked by our family. We hope that these items bring you as much joy and happiness as we experience in finding them for you. We hope that the antiques we provide will offer you a glimpse into the past and remind you of memories long forgotten or places forever cherished. John's Soda Pop Shop is located inside of Jill's Handpicked Treasures and was a special dream of John's. The idea for John's Soda Pop Shop was inspired by a love of old time soda fountains and from a road trip along route 66 where the family discovered Pops 66 in Arcadia, Oklahoma. Today we are excited to offer over 100 types of vintage sodas in our store front! We also offer several different ice cream treats for all ages to enjoy.
