raised to be born again christian... which is absolutely the most oppressive, most destructive, most abusive situation a child can be expected to navigate. mind you, there are children who thrive in such scenarios. but, for the ones who do not, there are no alternatives. you conform, or you go to hell. according to christians, i am going to hell. according to me, i am finally free - and WHOLE. i live without guilt. i live without fear. i have complete peace, and a greater sense of self awareness than i ever have. i do not labor under the illusion that my way is the right way for all. i simply refuse to conform. this is not the 15th century. i shouldn't have to hide because of my choices... and neither should you.
