The Guideposts for Kids Comfort Kit is a unique gift provided free to hospitalized children enabling them to feel less frightened and anxious about their surroundings and medical treatments. The kit helps soothe and reassure boys and girls age 4 to 13. By interacting with the elements in the kit, children are encouraged to freely express their hopes, wishes and even concerns. A hospital stay can be quite frightening for anyone – but imagine how a child feels, being away from home and family, in a strange bed and not feeling well.
