I live in Dublin, Ireland & paint from my studio in the lush, green (if a little rainy!) countryside. Ireland is a country steeped in myth and magic. Irish children grow up surrounded by folklore & fairytale, hearing stories about humans who possess superpowers and fairies who dwell in every corner of every forest. Many legends still exist around parts of Ireland, where people still fear going near magical "Fairy Forts" or trees that are associated with powerful magic. I also have a particular fascination with Glastonbury in England, a place where the land on Avalon is said to exist. It is here that Merlin & his magical followers dwelt and that the Druids lived. It is this magic that I like to base my art on. I especially love to paint abstract and symbols that come from fantasy lands or from my own imagination....I love goddesses, fairies, angels & all things positive! Art can make people smile & brighten up their lives - this is what I aim to achieve! I decided to upload my images so that people can purchase prints of my paintings, particularly in the form of stationary & wall art - at affordable prices.
