FaeWear

Hello! My name is Katelyn Fay, I am a 23 year old female mixed media visual artist, designer, and music-maker from South Florida. My clothing line, FaeWear was created to motivate people to be confident. My dream is that when you wear my clothes you will feel brave enough to pursue your dreams and be yourself. When I was young I always painted on my clothes and made my own designs, no matter how funny people thought i looked, I felt like I was being true to myself which is what mattered. In this world filled with factory mass production, I think people are finally wanting to wear something unique and one of a kind instead of wearing the same thing everyone else is wearing. Supporting their local artists instead of big corporations so people can remain dreaming. My designs stem from my own original artworks such as works on paper, canvas, or digital. I make sure to take my time digitally collaging each print to be as bold as the person that decides to wear them! The reason I want to start my designs through activewear is because I recently started getting more into health and fitness and wearing something comfortable but fun helps motivate me to want to work harder and live a healthier lifestyle. So I want people to feel like they can achieve the same whether they do decide to wear them as everyday wear or within fitness.
