Now in my mid 40's, I grew up at an altitude of 10,400ft/3,170m, at the Top of the Rockies. A place where air is rarified, but sunny days, long winters, and panoramic alpine beauty are abundant! My appreciation for the outdoors stems from growing up in these mountains and being taught about the Creator. At an early age I began such activities as skiing, hiking, mountaineering, and camping - things a person better enjoy if he lives in the mountains. The view from the top of a mountain is so amazing! For this reason I prefer climbing mountains the most and have now gained the summit of the 14ers in Colorado over 60 times.
