I have actually been toying around with the 502TRUE brand since 2009. Back then I was living all over the place and I was getting the "Where are you from?" question all of the time. At the time I was just learning how to tattoo so I decided to give myself a "502" tattoo on my left arm. I was bourn and raised in Louisville, KY... area code "502". It doesn't matter how many times I move away I will always come back home to the 502. This got me thinkin... hmmm... I am very true to my homage. TRUE rhymes with 502! Yea, 502TRUE. In my head I was thinkin " I wish I had a shirt that said 502TRUE". So ever since then I have always had the 502TRUE concept floating around in my mind. I'm stickin with 502TRUE because the people of Louisville work hard... very hard. They are dedicated, true, and different. I want the 502TRUE brand to represent everyone in the world who is dedicated, hard working, true, different, and courageous. It is my promise to offer the best product available. When you put on one of my shirts I want you to feel good about yourself. Feel proud of who you represent and what you stand for. 502TRUE is so much more than cool graphics and clever catch phrases. It's about what that logo on the back of the shirt stands for. Freedom, Truth, Hard Work, Dedication, Courage, Will Power, Change, Patience, Desire, Success... these words stand behind every 502TRUE Logo. That is why on the back every shirt I print the logo. It's not about image. It's not even about looking good. It's about who you are and what you believe in. So when someone sees that logo, there is no second guessing of what kind of person you are, they already know!
