Ty Thompson began expressing himself creatively from a very young age after his artistic interest was piqued through witnessing the work of cartoonists and various successful painters such as Vincent Van Gogh. He began experimenting with cartoon style drawings and he has since developed his own business, Kooky Ark, designing cartoon hybrid animals. Ty joined the Art Studios in September of 2024. He enjoys working with charcoal, colored pencils, and creating digital art, but he is open to experimenting with acrylic and watercolor paints in the near future. As a dedicated vegan and lover of nature, Ty’s art is almost always based around the environment. He aims to highlight the importance of caring for the natural world and promote climate activism. He also hopes to inspire other artists with his work and warm the hearts of his audience.
