Figures from Life by Barbara Stanton

Figures from life I run a figure drawing workshop in my hometown. We are a group of artists who hire a model every week so we can study the human figure. Drawing the human form from life is a wonderful and challenging experience. Nothing sharpens your drawing skills like it. I have been drawing there most every Friday for the past 15 years. It's the best way I know to keep my skills up and make sure my brain doesn't forget how to draw. In the process I have accumulated thousands of figures, mostly nude, and they are piled up in sketchbooks and on the walls, throughout my home/studio. So for the past few years I have focused on learning how to draw the figure on my Ipad, simply because I have no more room in my space! Many of these drawings have turned out pretty darned good, if I say so myself! I know that someone out there in the world might appreciate them but so far I haven't figured out who and how to find those collectors. I've put some of my favorites in my Zazzle store: Figures from Life. Maybe I will find some new patrons here. I think they would work on so many different products. Awesome!
