Squamscott River is a tidal river that connects to the Piscataqua River in Newington that runs down thru Portsmouth NH and out into the Atlantic Ocean. In Newfields there is a spot folks can put their kayak in and go South to Exeter with the tide and come back to Newfields or go from Newfields North out into Great Bay. A great way to spend a day.
