Sainte-Chapelle Castle

Heraldic designs inspired by a wall painting in the lavishly decorated Sainte-Chapelle of Paris, built by St. Louis IX of France to house the crown of thorns. France and England have had a complicated relationship, but heraldic symbols such as the Triple Turreted Castle have long been associated with the Royal House and nobility of Great Britain.
