I Found My Voice

This catchphrase was born from one of my poems reminding us of the power of our voice and how precious it really is. There are so many things in our lives that can make it difficult to speak up, share our story and truth, or express ourselves authentically in the world. Often they stem from fear, self-doubt, trauma, and societal conditioning. I myself have been the caged bird afraid to sing, tell my story, take up space, or express myself. In my experience, it's a process and practice of finding the courage to be bold, take up space, and let your voice be heard. You are so worthy, your voice is precious and you have the right to be heard, to speak your truth, and express yourself fully in this world as your authentic self.
