Holy Cards / Prayer Cards

A holy picture on the front, a prayer or Bible verse on the back; holy cards are a long-standing tradition in the Catholic church. They may serve as a memorization aid, a focal point for a lesson, or a small reward for good effort, etc. Distribute to individual students, or to the whole class. Holy cards can be kept on a bedside table as a reminder for morning and evening prayer; tucked into a book to mark the place; or carried in purse or pocket as a tiny oasis of God's peace in a busy world.
