Girl with Balloons

This darling girl with balloons was created by Jacqueline (age 16). At 11 years old, she was diagnosed with pain amplification syndrome while she was recovering from a viral infection. She lost er ability to walk with a normal gain and to perform fine motor skills like writing. She endured numerous hours of physical and occupational therapy at CHOC to regain her prior abilities. Today she enjoys acting, musical theater and helping children. Her dream is to become a child life specialist.
