Dutch Florals

Rich and dark still life paintings of flowers which were hugely popular in the 16th and 17th centuries. These ostentatious creations depicted a diversity of objects, fruits and flowers and were largely painted by Dutch artists such as Jan Brueghel the Elder, Abraham Mignon, Jan Davidsz de Heem and Rachel Ruysch. So detailed and I never get tired of looking at them they are just so pretty!
