Clan Henderson Gifts of Fordell Castle, Scotland

Hendersons around the world can enjoy unique gifts that celebrate their ancient Scottish Clan Henderson heritage and its history at Fordell Castle, a restored 16th-century tower house, located near Dalgety Bay in Fife, Scotland. The castle dates from the 1500s.The Henderson clan first obtained the property in 1511 and retained it until John Hampden Mercer-Henderson, 8th Earl of Buckinghamshire (1906-63), divided the land and sold the castle portion. The main entrance tower is believed to date from the 1400s. James (M. Jacobo) Henrysoun (Henderson) inherited part of the property about 1510-12 and purchased other portions of the estate. King James IV granted a barony in 1511. The property is privately owned and is closed to the public. Photos of this private property that are available for use are rare. We've found two.
