ARIZONA - Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend Canyon is a magnificent sight, especially against stormy skies! Located to the side of Route 89 just south of Page, Arizona, expect a total 1.5 mile moderate difficulty hike from the road, through striking pink sand, and cactus blooms if you are there in the Spring. Worth the effort! Do stay away from the edges of the canyon, as the soft sandstone can give way.
