Addict Clothing is a Brazilian company that was created by combining
clothing, art, music, and an active lifestyle. The largest
inspiration is the environment and its natural beauty. With this idea
in mind, Addict Clothing Company was born.
Their style is influenced by artists living in Rio, Brazil, who
refer to their style as the “Carioca Accent”. Carioca is another way
to say “the people who are born in Rio and live in Rio.”
The Addict store consists of apparel from Brazil including: swimsuits,
surf gear, accessories, and active clothing and accessories for men, women,
and children.
All the merchandise is designed and manufactured by the Addict Family
consisting of artists, designers, and manufactures all based in Brazil.
Addict Clothing stores are now located in Brazil and in California.

The stores located in Brazil have now acquired a true name in fashion.
The company began with young João Melo Leitão, 23 years, and Marcelo
Macedo, 24, who created Addict from a life long dream of fashion,
sports, art, and music combined with the Brazilian beach influence
from Ipanema and Leblon. When put into action, the idea was an instant
success. The brand has grown as one of the highest quality in product, style,
and attitude.

The newest addition to Addict is the store located in San Diego
California, in Pacific Beach. The store was under construction for many
months to truly achieve the feeling of “Carioca.” In addition to
Addict apparel, music, and sponsored events, the store holds art
displayed and sold representing the fresh new style of the Brazilian
street art and surf. The store has had many artists come from Brazil
who have helped design the store and provide artwork. We are very
proud of our new addition and are honored to say that the store has
been designed using reused or recyclable materials. The Addict Family
is very pleased with their usa based store, and can't wait to
watch the Addict Clothing Company grow.
